A team of 60 will be making Harrograte their home this week as Daisybeck Studios realises the dream to bring the world to THE GREAT YORKSHIRE SHOW. “We’ve been trying for years to get this amazing county show on network telly. We managed a couple of Yorkshire Vet specials – but we always felt there was so much more we could do with this three day festival of country crafts, cattle classes and fabulous food” Said MD, Paul Stead.
“Thanks to the fabulous Yorkshire Agricultural Society, we’ve managed to secure two special highlights programmes that we hope will become an annual event to sit alongside other much loved events like The Chelsea Flower Show. We’re delighted Anita Rani and Jules Hudson will be fronting the show which of course also features Peter and Julian from The Yorkshire Vet and our famous farming family, the Nicholsons’ from Cannon Hall Farm.
The Nicholsons are hugely popular thanks to SPRINGTIME ON THE FARM and we’ve been able to follow a key story from that series through to fruition in this new show. It’s such a great opportunity to celebrate rural life and tell real stories of farming folk”.
TODAY AT THE GREAT YORKSHIRE SHOW is on Channel 5 on Wednesday 10th and Thursday 11th July at 8pm.
