Help the Animals was the UK’s first ever live telethon event raising cash and awareness for British animal charities. The three-hour live TV special was broadcast on Friday 21st December on Channel 5 and featured the Scottish SPCA, The Blue Cross, The Donkey Sanctuary and the Wildlife Aid Foundation to highlight their work.

Presented by Gethin Jones, Anton Dubec, Gaby Roslin, John Thomson, Susan Calman, Michael Underwood, Storm Huntley and JB Gill, the programme raised £623,456 on the night.
